Back at it again with another post...
Something that i thought would be quite useful for you guys to read up on is how i keep my dry skin on my face hydrated and moisturised as there is nothing more than i hate once i have applied my makeup and discover dry patches of skin on my face.
Depending on how i am feeling each day i usually alternate between 3 different products to hydrate my face. These products are Palmers Cocoa Butter and Neal's Yard's Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Purifying Palmarosa Toner and Purifying Palmarosa Daily Moisture.
How i was introduced to the Neal's Yard brand which is an online store which sells organic skin care using natural remedies, is that i in fact have a masseuse called Alessia who i see once every two weeks. Alessia is an endorsement of the brand and uses a variation of these products throughout my massages. I originally asked her about an increase of acne on my face, back and shoulders and asked her opinion on how to solve the problem of acne. She suggested the Toner and Daily moisture from Neal's Yard. So i purchased both
of these products which came to a total of £41, which i do understand is expensive but these products are value for money as only a very small amount of each product needed to be used in order to for fill the needs for what i am using it for and therefore makes the products last longer because of the high quality they're made from. Both the toner and moisturiser are great quality, i especially like the moisturiser when i apply it before i put my makeup on because it drys super fast, which is something i love about this product as i'm always in a rush so its great moisturiser to use for easy and quickness but it also leaves my face smooth and hydrated which is amazing for my dry skin.

I also like to use the Coconut Oil once i have had a shower and i like to use it on all of my body not just my face. The Coconut Oil hydrates all of my skin leaving it soft and smelling amazing for the next few days to come. The Coconut Oil can be purchased for £9, i think that this is reasonably priced as another branded coconut oil can be purchased in Tesco or Asda for between £2.35 and £3 but these are primarily used for cooking. Although these products are cheaper in price it cant be guaranteed that they will be organic and highly nutritious. The Coconut Oil can also be used for various things such as your hair. I usually place the Coconut Oil in the bottom half of my hair and leave it in over night and wash it out the next day as overnight the oil nourishes the hair. Although i have not personally used the Coconut Oil for cooking, it does identify on the packing that the product could also be used for those purposes. The only reason i usually apply the Coconut Oil once i have showered and ready for bed is because it does make your skin slightly oily while your skin is absorbing the oil. But this is for your preference as to which time of day you would like to use the product but as i am usually in a rush in the morning so to gain maximum benefit from this product and due to my lifestyle i choose to the evening but you can tailor this to your lifestyle.

I use the Palmers Cocoa Butter mostly because i love the smell but again it is a quick absorbing moisturiser which is easy to apply just before applying your makeup. This is a cheap alternative but when applying it does not compare in quality to Neal's Yard but is a good comparison but i would not use this product daily as i don't think this would benefit my skin each day. Each persons skin is different so this could benefit your skin but as it is a thick consistency it would be to heavy on my skin. This product can be purchased at Asda for £3.50 or at Tesco it is currently on sale for £2.40 from its originally price of £3.60.

I hope these products and my opinions will help you out in figuring out something that works best for you and your skin. Just remember that quality is better than quantity.
