Review of Johnson's Makeup Be Gone Extra-Sensitive Wipes and Garnier Micellar Extra-Gentle Clean

Welcome back, below is my opinion on how i remove my eye make up as i do have sensitive eyes during the removal of make up. This is not a sponsored post, all products have been purchased with my own money and the review is my opinion.

I picked these sensitive eye removal wipes at a Tesco Extra store, while these wipes are on offer for £1.50 each from £3 each. Being honest this is probably the only reason why i have chosen these wipes being a student and on a budget, 'every little helps'.

I have only recently discovered that my eyes have become sensitive while removing make up at the end of my day so i purchased the Nivea liquid removal bottle, which does its job of removing the eye make up but for me i did not like the feel of it being so wet on my eye and the possibility of the liquid going into my eye so i have decided to try wipes as this is what i used to previously remove my eye make up but with just normal face wipes.

The first one I tried is the Johnson’s Makeup Be Gone Extra-Sensitive Wipes containing 25 wipes per packet although both products contain the same amount in the packets the size of the Johnson’s packaging is considerably bigger than Garnier. Once, i pulled out the wipe itself the first thing i noticed is that it is a large wipe. The wipe itself is very soft to the touch of the eye, which is great as it does what it says on the tin and this is the aim of the product. Since the wipe being large it is clear that it will be able to cover not only both eyes but also it could be used as a face wipe also.

Next i tried the Garnier Micellar Extra-Gentle Cleansing Wipes also containing 25 wipes. Once getting a wipe out i noticed that it is slightly smaller at 2/3 the size of the Johnson’s wipe. The wipe itself felt soft but once in use i did not like the feel, it was rough to the eye and while using the wipe it gave off access liquid onto the face which i also did not like. It also took me a lot longer to remove all my eye makeup and the wipe would not be big enough to complete the removal of a face full of makeup.

Overall i think that the Johnson’s Face Care Wipes are better value for money due to them being considerably bigger in size and are better quality than the Garnier wipes. I would definitely recommend this product and i would certainly purchase this product in the future.

I hope this helps you, if you suffer from sensitive eyes like me. If there is anything you would like me to review or give my opinions on then contact me through here or on my social medias☺.
